One thing that I always stress in business is to make your team(s) feel part of something and create a Team Experience where people want to turn up for work, in fact even excited to do so. What happens when people are excited to be part of something? Well Performance Rockets!
Creating the right dynamic for a positive Team Experience is also not rocket science, however it involves the ‘Little Often’ approach. That is, keep it up, don’t let it drop, even through bad times when it’s even more important. Encourage friendships and allow people to bond as when they do, they will help each other and that is truly when you see and realise the benefits of the team experience and thus performance.
